The lamp's price is calculated according to the materiasl and components chosen with us. An indicative price is given for each lamp, corresponding to the lamp photos (characteristics shown in its description). All indicated prices include individual customer support to help you select lamp's color, bulb type, material and wood species. The table below gives the differents prices for two finish options with their prices. * Prices corresponding to the lamp configurations shown in the photos.

Once my lamp is designed and the quote validated, when do I pay?

For a customized lamp, the payment process happens in two parts: - after the quote validation, a first deposit (50% of price), (one received, the manufacturing begins), - after the end of manufacturing, the last deposit (50% of price),
(one received, we ship the lamp to you). For a tailor-made project, the payment process happens in three parts: - after the quote validation, a first deposit (10% of price), (one received, the advanced design begins), - after the advanced design is validated, a second deposit (40% of price), (once received, the manufacturing begins),
- after the end of manufacturing, the last deposit (50% of price),

Which payment methods are available?

You can make a payment using bank transfer or Paypal.

How can I return or exchange an ordered product?

Your lamp does not fully satisfy you? Contact us within 14 days of reception day. We will tell you how return it or organize its removal. Once we receive the lamp back, the refund will be processed. You will assume the return shipping costs. This measure cannot be applied to tailor-made projects. To consolidate your choice, during the design validation step, we can realize 3D lamp modelling using photos of your interior decoration. We also create a materials and colors board during the customization process, which we can send to you to help you validate your choice.

Why ask for a deposit before manufacturing?

All the lamps are made by hand with consequences: - very little material stock, with materials ordered for each lamp order.
- 1 to 6 months manufacturing time considering customization level and lamp size. With these specificities, the deposits provide a mutual commitment:
- From us, for the manufacturing time and the delivery date,
- From you, for the design and price validation and also for the manufacturing time and delivery date.

Are the lamps under warranty?

The lamps are covered with a a two-year warranty (for a lack conformity). Depending on the nature of the nonconformity, we will organize the repair, the replacement or the refund. The modalities are described in the general sale conditions.

Can I install the lamp myself?

It depends on the size and the weight of each lamp.
For the wall lights (Fact-Cosy and Fact-Cosy Long), self installation is possible. A skilled beginners DIY skills level is required (wall drilling,...). For a large model, wall light or suspension, which are heavier, using one or two assistants is recommended. The use of a professional can even be recommended in some cases. The lamps are delivered completely assembled, along with installation and operating instructions. We support you for these steps.

What equipment do i need to install my lamp?

You will need these basic tools for most of the lamps:
- a drill with appropriate drill bit accoding to your wall type,
- a spirit level,
- a screwdriver, pencil, etc... We provide fixation dowels and screws.

How long will it take to build my lamp?

The manufacturing time is defined at the same times as the quote. Depeding on the workshop burden, manufacturing could last between 1 and 6 months.

We commit to a delivery date and we inform you about the manufacturing progress.

How much does the delivery cost?

The delivery charges vary according to the size and weight of the lamp.

The quote with the lamp price will include the final shipment price.

For reference, for the little models (wall light), delivery to:

- Paris, Ile de France, is offered ,
- France starts from about 20 euros,
- Europe starts from about 30 euros.

For the rest of the world, to ensure the best delivery experience, we will evaluate the best solution with you.

My package is damaged, what should i do?

As the recipient, you have to: - notify in the regular time to the carrier, - send us the claim at contact@gallenswan.fr. If the package is damaged (on the outside), it is advised to refuse it and indicate the reason for rejection.

Do you sell online?

We propose to you to create, with you, your future mechanical lamp.
It will reflect, in some ways your personality. Therefore, we don't sell directly online.

Are the lamp suitable for use by children?

The light mechaniisms use steel components like gears and chains with sharp edges. The system must be handled under parental or adult supervision. All the electrical components are isolated following current rules and standards.

How is the color and material choices of my lamp organized?

After we introduce each-other: - for a customized lamp, we will need 5-6 exchanges to totally define your lamp, - for a tailor-made project, it will depend on the size of thelamp and scale of the project.We can discuss about it by e-mail, phone, Skype®, or physically, at your choice.
